- House of Burns – Kirkoswald
The New House of Burns Gift Shop & Gallery at Kirkoswald, kindly invited us to exhibit some of our instruments in their new art & craft gallery this weekend – the newly open building is part of the redevelopment of a historic part of South Ayrshire, and is the home of the Artisan Patisserie & bakery, where cakes, ice cream and mouth watering handmade chocolates are carefully crafted (you can see them being made).
The gallery will eventually house a full range of locally crafted items of all kinds, showing the skills of some of the huge numbers of Scottish, and locally based artists and craftspeople, to the folk who visit from all over the world.
The shop already stocks local produce and food items, and if the response to our own works of art is as good as our reactions to the ice cream and sweetie parlour, we are hoping to be part of the gallery display regularly in future

The Kithara Archtop, Quilted Moonshiner, our new satin burst, open headstock Companion (see pic above) and a flame topped electric are on display until shop close Sunday 11 Dec if you fancy a look.
