Although the site has been active for less than a month already we have students as far apart as China, USA , New Zealand, Canada, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Australia, all over the UK and Europe – even Russia! And it is going down a storm with 5 star reviews!

All these students are now able to get full lifetime access to the courses and they get to ask me any question they like – I am enjoying answering all the questions that come in and they have been busy designing, and starting to build their own guitars at home following my video lessons.

Here is the Deal

It is important to me that I can give full attention to every question I get asked – there is a danger of getting swamped with too many students and questions – and then everyone will suffer. I am a while away from this yet but I feel it is important to protect this feature.

To prevent overload I am not going to be able to keep the price at this Introductory level for very much longer – I am not sure exactly when this will occur but likely towards the end of the month.

Also at some point I may have to consider a monthly subsciption based signup for future students – depending on how many folks sign up on any of the courses. If we do change over to a subscription based system then rest assured if you are a already a student by then you will not lose out – It will not affect students who are already enrolled.

I spent hours on the net searching for some help to kick off my hobby-luthier career, be it youtube, ebooks – you name it. I found a lot.. lots of inconclusive bits or hundreds of pages to read – too overwhelming to start out motivated.

Building a guitar from scratch is a scary thought, but by breaking the process down into easily manageable chunks Mark turns the seemingly impossible into the surprisingly achievable.
Straightforward and clear instructions combine with excellent camera work to ensure that even a DIY disaster zone like me can attempt a build with confidence.

Outstanding work! A must do for anyone that is serious about becoming a luthier…

In a world where people call themselves a luthier after having assembled a couple of kit guitars, and master luthier after building a handful of them, I would invite everybody who take instrument building seriously to undertake this course. Mark is not just the most experienced guitar builder that I have come across, he is a truly wonderful teacher and communicator. He is down to earth, humble, approachable, sincere, practical and realistic, and will definitely not give you any ‘improvised on the spot’ nonsense when he is not absolutely confident about something. He has built and/or helped others built hundreds of guitars, and I personally haven’t ever read any comment that was not in appreciation of his dedication to instrument making.
Mark is generous, he does not hold onto special secrets, he shares what he knows, and he knows A LOT!
As a senior academic who specializes in learning with technology, but also as a guitarist and luthier, I feel very lucky for having had the opportunity to experience Mark’s courses. Excellent course !! If you want to step into the world of guitar luthier than this is the course to do.

Firstly Mark is a great teacher and lovely chap, he really breaks it all down so you can get a good sense of understanding of the principles of guitar making. Simple and effective. !!!

I completed the design course and waited with high hopes for the build course to come online.
I was not disappointed.

The Course itself is brilliant and very enjoyable, every aspect from the tools to use, to the wood is in here. Mark is always on hand to answer any questions regards to the course and very helpful and willing to explain so you understand.

I cannot recommend this course highly enough especially if you want to build your own guitar from scratch. Well worth the money. 10 out of 10 !!!!
