Even more tone, slightly less frets…
The Rumrunner was created to achieve maximum tone and projection, having the same
shape and high spec as the Bootlegger
but modified by moving the neck join to the 12th fret instead of its
usual position at the 14th. Because the bridge is moved closer to the
centre of the soundboard it has more power. This has the beneficial effects of not
only making it louder but also richer and tonally enhanced.
If it’s purely tone you are after then this could be the one.
